AN ORDINANCE ATTESTING TO THE INCREASE IN THE TAXES LEVIED FOR BUDGET YEAR 2001 NECESSARY TO FINANCE PUBLIC SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF NORTONVILLE.

Section 1. In accordance with state law, the City of Nortonville will conduct a public hearing and will publish the proposed budget necessary to fund city services from January 1, 2001 until December 31, 2001.

Section 2. After careful public deliberation, it is hereby attested that in order to maintain the public services, which are essential for the citizens of this city, it will be necessary to utilize property tax revenues in an amount which exceeds the revenues expended in the budget year 2000.
